Creating an account with 50 megs is simple enough. There are several attempts to try and get
credit card details, but a free service is advailable.
50megs provides 50 mb of storage space, but has a max file size of 0.25 megs. Like a lot of other free web hosts, It doesn't give the use ftp access to the server, requiring users to upload files using their own uploader. Files are controlled using an inbuilt file manager which allows you to move / delete / rename files and create directories. This inbuilt file manager is very similar across most free hosts to compinsate for lack of ftp. You can however upgrade your account
by paying a monthly fww with will give you ftp access and more.
50 megs also provides both a HTML editor and a WYSIWYG editor. There is no support for IDEs like front page.
